The hotel is located only 10 minutes drive from Hurghada airport and 15 minutes drive from downtown Hurghada.

Facilities include reception, 3 swimming pools, children's pool, 4 giant water slides, 2 a la carte restaurants, a buffet restaurant and 4 bars, shopping area (10 shops), tennis court, volleyball court, multi purpose court, aerobics, water gymnastics, fitness room, boccia, mini-golf, table tennis, Internet service (extra charge), health club with sauna, jacuzzi, massage and steam rooms (extra charge), various sports programs during the day, as well as the evening animation shows, children's playground and mini-club (4-12 years). Laundry and 24-hour room services are also available as well as car rental and a shuttle bus service to downtown. All guests of Albatros Resort have free access to the private beach of Beach Albatros Hotel.

All 216 standard rooms and 27 family rooms are equipped with air conditioning, mini bar, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, bathroom with shower and luxury shower kit, and each room opens onto a balcony or terrace. The spacious family rooms (41 m²) can accommodate up to 5 persons, and feature a bedroom, a separate living room and a bathroom.

The AI programme consists of breakfast 07:00-10:00, late breakfast 10:00-11:00, lunch 12:30-14:30, as snacks and dinner 18:30-21:30, all buffet style (international & oriental), served in the main restaurant 'The White Hall'. Also at the disposal of the AI guests for lunch is the Taverna 12:30-15:00, buffet and the terrace 14:30-16:00. A variety of snacks are available between 12:30-16:00 at the Habana pool bar as well as from 12:30-14:30 at the beach Albatros taverna bar. Tea & coffee time is from 16:00-17:00 at the lobby bar. Kids can have ice creams from 12:00-20:00. Late night snacks are offered twice a week in the lobby bar from 23:00-24:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks are served from 10:00-24:00 at the terrace bar (10:00-18:00 & 19:00-23:00), the pool bar (10:00-18:00), the lobby bar (18:00-24:00) and the taverna bar (10:00-17:00).

Sport and leisure facilities included are; use of the tennis court, football, swimming pools, health club which includes a fitness room and an indoor swimming pool operating from 09:00-21:00 and the kid's club. Activities and events during the week such as shows and aerobics. At the Beach Albatros Hotel guests can use the fitness room, three tennis courts, a mini golf and a football court. The resort has the unique huge aqua blue park with 4 slides, and the slides can be used between 10.00-18.00.

Chargeable extras include the a la carte restaurants, laundry service, doctor visits, as well as 24 hour on call service through the reception and reservations for massage arranged at the health club are not included in the AI concept. At the Beach Albatros the facilities of the diving centre, surfing, snorkelling and other water sports are available at a charge.

Upon arrival guests receive an AI bracelet that allows them to take the advantage of food, drinks, sport and entertainment free of charge.
