Location
Prainha Village is located on a cliff with direct access to the Praia Dos Tres Irmaos beach via a unique elevator which is built into the rocks. There are eight golf courses within 15km of the complex, the closest, Alto Golf Course being within 1.5km.
The centre of Alvor is approx 2km away and the complex is approx 76km from Faro Airport.
Facilities
Prainha Village has three outdoor swimming pools and two separate outdoor pools for children surrounded by furnished sun terraces and extensive lawned gardens. In addition, there is direct access to the beach.
Further leisure facilities include tennis courts, two children's playgrounds and use of the health club (entry charge applies, no children permitted).
There are four restaurants on the complex; a beach bar-restaurant, a pizzeria, an a'la carte restaurant in the Prainha Clube and a poolside snack bar by the clifftop saltwater pool.
Amenities and services available to guests include a supermarket, free parking, 24-hour reception, cash machine, babysitting (on request), laundry service, currency exchange, vehicle rental, internet corner and WiFi zone.
Please note: The spa facilities at the Thalgo Centre (Health Club) is currently closed. The indoor pool and jacuzzi have been removed and replaced with several pools of different water temperatures allowing a new experience for guests. Access to this area is payable locally and charged at a daily rate. Children are not permitted in this area.

Accommodation at the Prainha Village comprises of 214 apartments, bungalows, town-houses and villas with up to four bedrooms; one-bedroom accommodation can accommodate up to 3 people, two-bedroom up to 5 people, three-bedroom up to 7 people and four-bedroom up to 9 people.
All accommodation types have a balcony or terrace, bathroom, living room with sofa-bed and a kitchenette. They are equipped with satellite TV, a hire safe, fridge, microwave, cooking rings, toaster and washing machine. Two to four bedroom units also benefit from a dishwasher and some villas have a private pool.
