The Porta Nova offers guests an adults outdoor pool, a children's outdoor pool, heated pool, a games room, video games, snooker, health club, jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna, massage (on request, local charge) and bicycles for rent.

Near to the hotel guests can find golf, fishing, boat trips, guided visits of local monuments, deep sea fishing, radical sports (such as hang gliding and ballooning), surfing, jet skiing, yachting, diving, paintballing, horse riding, windsurfing and canoeing (all seasonal, local charge).

The hotel offers a delightful range of eating possibilities. The Restaurant Tabira provides a relaxing atmosphere where guests can enjoy a creation of international gastronomy. It is open for breakfast, lunch (winter only, 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm) and dinner (7.30 pm to 9.30 pm) and can cater for up to 140 guests. The Bar D. Paio is situated in the lobby and has an informal atmosphere and serves guests with drinks typical of the region and stocks international brands. The Grill and Bar Salsa is situated on the rooftop of the hotel and here guests can enjoy views of the city and the sea. Here guests are offered gastronomic delights of typical and traditional Portuguese cuisine, prepared by the chef. In the bar, guests will experience sophisticated cocktails prepared by the barmen. The Esplanade offers unique views of Tavira and seats 80 guests.

Self Catering

Self Catering puts you in complete control of what you eat on holiday. Generally a kitchette is provided to allow you to cook basic meals.

Bed & Breakfast

Bed & Breakfast means breakfast is the only meal at the hotel included in the price. Giving you complete freedom over lunch and dinner outside the hotel.

Half Board

Half board generally means breakfast and dinner at the hotel are included in the price.

All Inclusive

The All Inclusive information is a guide only and is subject to change and/or availability.

The All Inclusive programme consists of breakfast (7.30 am to 10am), lunch (12.30 pm to 3 pm) and dinner (7.30 pm to 10 pm) all served buffet style in the main Tabira restaurant. Guests may also take lunch at the Panoramic restaurant or the snack bar (seasonal). With meals water, coffee, tea, milk, soft drinks, house wine and Portuguese draught beer are served. Delicious snacks (hamburgers, salads, hot dogs, scrambled eggs, lasagna and scrambled eggs) are served from 12:30 pm to 3 pm and 7 pm to 10 pm at the Tabira, Panoramic or snack bar (subject to season). Additionally, between 10 am and 12.30 pm and 4 pm and 7 pm, snacks can be found at the snack bar or the D.Paio bar (excludes bruschetta, fried eggs and steak, chicken piri piri, minute steak in bread, grilled sirloin and English breakfast). All Inclusive drinks include local beer, house wine, liquors, local spirits, whisky, soft drinks, tea, coffee and water and are served at the main hotel bar between 11 am and 11 pm.

Please note that all drinks from the bar that are not included in the All Inclusive programme can be purchased with a 50% discount of normal prices until 11 pm. The a la carte service and the wine list have 25% discount except for French champagne. On the final day, guests All Inclusive ends at midday.
