Poipu Beach

Poipu Beach is one of the most popular on the South Shore and is considered one of the safest in Hawaii. Within the one mile stretch of sand is boogie boarding, surfing, snorkelling and scuba diving and the shallow water makes it ideal for children.

Things to Do

For those seeking outdoor pursuits there is a range of sporting activities including kayaking, horse riding, helicopter sightseeing tours, mountain biking and walking trails.

From December to May whale watching tours are available as the humpback whales move past the island.
