Various sporting and leisure activities include an outdoor themed pool with water slides, a whirlpool and an area for sunbathing. There is an indoor pool, which is not available during 16 June to 15 September. A daily and nightly entertainment programme, large games area offering bowls, gigantic chess, shuffle board, mini-golf, archery, rifle shooting, gymnasium, mini casino, reading room and bicycle rental. There is also a naturist sunbathing terrace available.

The Playacartaya consists of 290 rooms in total. All of the rooms have a bathroom with bath, shower cabinet and hairdryer, satellite TV with more than 15 channels, telephone, mini-bar, air conditioning / heating and ceiling fan, safety deposit box at an extra charge. The majority of rooms hold a sea view from the balcony or terrace. Plesae note, there is a possibility to reserve connecting double rooms which are ideal for families.

The hotel is 120 km from Faro Airport and 115 km from Sevilla Airport. The distance from the nearest beach is just 20-25 minutes, while the nearest resort city/town 20 km.

All Inclusive

The AI programme consists of breakfast (08:00-10:30), lunch (13:30-16:00) and dinner (19:00-22:30), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant (non-smoking are available). During meals water, beer, table wine, soft drinks, etc are offered. Snacks such as tapas, Russian salad, sauce meat, cheese, etc are available at the bar between 11:00 & 13:00. All alcoholic & soft drinks are served from 08:00-24:00 at the hotel bar.
