Murdeira Village Hotel has a swimming pool facing the beach, with sun bathing terraces and a pool-side snack bar with dining terrace. As well as the pool-side bar, the hotel also has a restaurant, between the pool and the beach.

Sports facilities include beach volleyball, floodlit tennis courts, floodlit football pitch and a gym. There are also 2 children's pools and a children's playground, a mini market and an internet cafe. There are many fishing and watersport opportunities available from the complex and along the beach.

Reception can arrange safety deposit boxes, medical services and taxis.

Special Information

On entry into Cape Verde, you are required to obtain a visitors visa. This is approximately 28 to 42 Euros (subject to change).

Murdeira Village Hotel sits on the beach at Murdeira Bay, where you will find a good choice of water-sports. A minibus runs daily to Santa Maria or you could visit to the old salt mines or take a boat trip to a neighbouring Cape Verde island.

It is approx. 10 minutes from Espargos, the islands capital, and approx. 10 minutes from Santa Maria where you will find, shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs and approx. 10 minutes from the airport.
