Location
Mitsis Family Village is located just 5 minutes from the gently sloping beach and clear waters, where you'll find FREE sunbeds and parasols as well as waiter service.
The hotel is surrounded by mountainous countryside, at the foot of Mount Dikeos. The lively resort of Kardamena is approximately 6km away and is accessible by bus or taxi, or, alternatively, it is approx 60 minutes walk along the beach with beach bars and restaurants along the way. The hotel is approximately 11km from Kos Airport.
Facilities
Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and a selection of on-site activities such as tennis, table tennis, water polo, darts, beach football, beach volleyball, and a variety of watersports at the beach (extra charge). There are also plenty of activities to keep the children entertained, such as a kids' pool, playground, disco, and a mini club (ages 4-11) available seasonally. Daytime and evening entertainment is also provided.
A selection of social and dining venues are available at the hotel, such as a main restaurant, a pool bar at the waterslide pool, a main bar, a creperie & gelateria, a beach bar and a theatre bar.
Please note that a dress code applies across the venues at dinner, therefore shorts and sleeveless tops are not allowed.
Rooms
There are 219 hotel rooms sleeping up to 4 adults. These include Twin Rooms, Family Rooms and Superior Rooms which come with a sharing pool for an added element of luxury.
The standard rooms feature a twin bed, a sofa bed, satellite TV, a mini fridge, a direct dial telephone, a safe box (local charge), individually controlled heating and air conditioning, a bathroom, towels and slippers, FREE pool and beach towels, a minibar (refreshed every second day) and a balcony or terrace. Some Superior Rooms also feature a sharing pool.

The All Inclusive programme offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, with meals, local wine, draught beer, juice and soft drinks are served.

Please note that due to the hotel's location it may not be suitable for clients with walking difficulties.
From 1st of January 2024, the Greek Govt. are charging a Climate Resilience Tax on all overnight stays which will be payable before departing the hotel. This tax replaces the previous sustainable tourism tax. March to October: 5-star hotels: €10 per room, per night 4-star hotels: €7 per room, per night 3-star hotels: €3 per room, per night 1-star & 2-star hotels: €1.50 per room, per night Furnished rooms/apartments: €1.50 per room, per night November to February reduced rates will apply.
