The main entrance features a palapa with carved stone and paintings by Bertrand Castelli. The complex furthermore offers 3 restaurants, including the Maroma, an open-air terrace with sea views, 3 bars (one of which is on the beach), gardens, private beach, conference facilities, theatre, and a selection of shops.

Maroma is located in the state of Quintana Roo, on the Mexican Caribbean, at the Riviera Maya. It sits on a jungle preserve measuring roughly 25 acres. The site is approx 45 minutes from Cancun and within a close range from cultural and historic sites.

Cancun International Airport is approx 54 km from the resort of Riviera Maya.
