The hotel is situated approx 20 minutes from the old city centre and close to the national park which has many animals such as gazelles, hyrax and Nubian Ibexes. The airport is approx 8 miles away.

Facilities available to guests at the hotel include a variety of bars and restaurants, disco, internet cafe, shops, hairdressers, swimming pool, children's pool and health club with treatments rooms, massage, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and sauna and gym. The hotel offers 340 guest rooms which are elegantly decorated and furnished and feature private bathroom, hair dryer, fridge, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning and balcony or terrace.

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-15:00) and dinner (19:00-21:30), all buffet style with show cooking & theme nights, served in the main restaurant. During meals unlimited local drinks are offered. Also at the disposal of the AI guests for dinner once a week with prior reservation, is one of the three A la Carte restaurants; Italian, Chinese, Oriental.

Snack are available between 10:00 & 24:00 (excluding meal hours) at the pool bar. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like draught beer, spirits, wine, purified water, liqueurs, juices, soft drinks and cocktails are served from 10:00-24:00 at the two cocktail bars, one pub located at the lobby and the mezzanine.
