Kolymbari is a quiet Crete villiage with a un-spoilt nature and un-crowded beaches. The resort is very pretty with typical white houses, flowers and a peaceful monastery which is well worth a visit. There are a few shops and alhtough there are some bars, tavernas and restaurants it remains quiet at night. A great resort for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday. Un-crowded beaches, un-spoilt nature and a peaceful setting for a really laid back holiday. Relaxed evenings in traditional tavernas and good local cuisine is offered here. The beaches are clean and excellent for swimming.

Kolymbari is located approx 15 miles west of Chania which is easily reached by local transport.
