Motorised watersports are not available here due to the nesting turtles but a variety of other activities are such as horse riding, cycling or simply exploring the beautiful countryside. Laganas has five miles of soft white sand which shelves gently down to the sea. The beach is lined with restaurants, beach bars and alfresco dining with views across the sea. At night the beach is protected for the rare loggerhead turtles who nest at the beach.
