Grand Hotel Excelsior has a swimming pool and direct access to a private beach via an elevator set into the cliff. The pool is surrounded by a sun terrace, furnished with sun loungers and parasols, overlooking the Amalfi Coast. The pool-side bar enjoys a charming cave-style setting and there is a further snack bar and terrace, changing rooms and loungers available at the hotel's beach.

The A la Carte restaurant is located on an open terrace overlooking Amalfi, which is attractively illuminated at night and offers seasonal evening entertainment. There is also a lounge bar and, a Grill serving authentic local cuisine on the terrace near the pool.

The hotel has a 24 hour reception and further services offered include internet access, currency exchange, safety deposit boxes, tourist information, room and laundry services, medical assistance and luggage storage. In addition, the hotel runs a shuttle service to the centre of Amalfi.

Note: Facilities including the beach, restaurant and bars are available from June to September.

Grand Excelsior Hotel has direct access to its private beach and is approx 600 metres from the nearest shop. Amalfi beach and the resort centre is approx 3.5km away, to which the hotel runs a shuttle service. There are many shops, bars and restaurants in Amalfi and boat trips are readily available from the piers.

Well known sights nearby are the historical centre of Amalfi with the characteristic Cathedral, the beach of Amalfi, Maiori and Minori, the exclusive town of Positano, Praiano, and the temples of Paestum. Amalfi is approx 74km from Naples Airport.
