This charming resort is situated on the North coast and provides an excellent base to explore the island. There are plenty of shops, bars, tavernas and clubs available in the resort but nightlife is rather quiet. If you are looking for somewhere a bit busier at night, there are plenty of resorts close at hand. Gouves has a small marina and a selection of watersports can be found on the beach.

It has a relaxing environment and, while it is traditional, it does provide a choice of shops, restaurants, taverna's and bars. Gouves contains sandy and rocky bays and has a nice laidback, relaxed atmosphere. This would make a good resort for a relaxing holiday. The transfer time by coach is 30 minutes by coach or 20 minutes by private taxi.
