The hotel is located between Faliraki, Afandou and Lindos and is surrounded by hills. The hotel is 1350 metres from one of the cleanest beaches of the island (daily transport by shuttle bus is offered from the hotel to the beach at least five times a day). The hotel is 650 metres from Kolymbia.

The Golden Odyssey Hotel offers a main bar, a lobby with satellite TV, tennis court, table tennis, video games and billiards. Once a week the hotel organises a Greek evening with delicious Greek buffet and there is also a karaoke evening and show nights once a week.

The hotel consists of 150 guestrooms and all benefit from private bathroom, air conditioning, telephone, radio, safety deposit box, fridge, television and a large balcony. Safety deposit boxes can be found at reception (local charge).

The All Inclusive programme consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner all served buffet style in the main restaurant with show cooking. With meals local table wine, draught beer and soft drinks are offered. There is a variety of snacks available from 11 am and 12.30 pm and afternoon tea, cake and ice cream is available from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. Locally produced alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks such as draught beer, soft drinks, coffee, tea, etc are served at the bar from 11 am to 11 pm.
