All 216 acres of this resort are situated just off the coast of Miami Beach with the only access by 24 hour private auto ferry, boat or helicopter.

Facilities include 8 eateries ranging from an informal pizzaria to formal Italian and Mediterranian fine dining; the Vanderbilt Mansion for gourmet dining, Cafe Porto Cervo for Mediterranean cuisine, Golf Grill Restaurant and Terrace for relaxed meals overlooking the golf course, the Beach Club for floribean dining and Spa menus available for health-conscious fare. For recreational activities there is a seaside Championship golf course, 18 tennis courts, full Spa with beauty and massage treatments, Beach club with private full service beach, fitness centre, bicycle hire and swimming pools. There is also an executive conference centre, two marinas, boutiques, beauty salon, childrens playground, childrens club and recreation area.

Accommodation consists of 65 cottages and villas. The luxurious one-bedroom Villa Suites include sitting room, private patios and hot tubs and the spacious one and two bedroom seaside villas overlook the Atlantic Ocean and are adjacent to the private Beach Club. All guests receive a complimentary golf cart for use during their stay.
