Beaches
Figueretas enjoys a sunny south facing location in a crescent shaped bay on the outskirts of Ibiza Town. The bay is lined with a string of small beaches, separated by rock breakwaters and backed by a palm-lined promenade.
At the far end of the resort there is a harbour which links Figueretas to the neighbouring resort of Playa den Bossa, where you can enjoy a variety of water-sports.
Things to Do
For fun days out the Aguamar Water Park is just a few minutes away at the neighbouring resort of Playa den Bossa and there is a Go Kart track at Santa Eulalia which is approx 15 minutes drive away.
From Figueretas you can take the Aquabus for a scenic cruise to island of Formentera, known for its beautiful beaches. From Ibiza port you can take a cruise along the coast taking in the sights of the defensive walls of the historic Dalt Vila.
Out and About
Figueretas is a small resort packed with holiday accommodation, bars and restaurants, supermarkets and gift shops. There are craft and artisan stalls along the promenade and the area has a generally laid back atmosphere.
It is just 5 minutes taxi ride from Ibiza Town where you have an even wider choice of shops and entertainment. In fact you can walk to Ibiza harbour in approx 15 minutes.
There is also a water bus which runs every hour throughout the day (and from 6am to 2am in peak season) connecting Figueretas with Ibiza Town and Playa den Bossa.
Nearby Attractions
Explore the historic quarter of Ibiza Town, the Dalt Vila; admire the views from the bastions and discover sights of historic interest, browse the art galleries and try one of the restaurants in the Placa de Vila.
Of cultural interest you can visit the Cathedral, the Museum of Archaeology, the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Medina Yabisa Interpretation Centre.
