The focal point of the El Paso Hotel is its large central, themed swimming pool which features a sunken galleon, walkways, sun bathing areas and a poolside bar and is surrounded by greenery.

For children there is a separate swimming pool, a playground and maze, a games room and the summer-time 'Campo Aventura' kids' club for ages 4-11 years.

There are several bars and restaurants on-site including the Merida Restaurant and garden terrace offering international buffets; the Coyote Restaurant themed with American movie memorabilia offering international and Tex-Mex dishes and, Club Maya set by the pool and offering a variety of snacks.

Services include day and night entertainment programme, 24 hour-reception, currency exchange, internet access, laundry service, gift shop, baby sitting service and parking.
