The hotel is located a few metres away from the beach. The resort centre can be found 3km away where a variety of shops, bars and restaurants can be found.

Las Americas airport is approximately 30 km away and 55km from Santo Domingo.

The All Inclusive information is a guide only and is subject to change and/or availability.

The All Inclusive programme consists of breakfast at the Barcelo Colonia Tropical Hotel whilst other services are available at the nearby Barcelo Capella Hotel. Lunch and dinner are served in a choice of restaurants where there are also themed dinners some nights. Locally produced soft drinks and alcoholic drinks are available until 2am. Facilities include Kid's club, games room, volleyball, waterpolo, gym and non motorised water sports.
