Dining options include; Santiago main restaurant with terrace, Barlovento Cape Verdian speciality restaurant, Buda Asian restaurant and Las Dunas poolside restaurant (African restaurant).

A total of 750 rooms are spread over a two-storey main building and three-storey annexes. All rooms are provided with private bathroom, hairdryer, telephone, central air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini-fridge, satellite TV, electronic in-room safe and a balcony or terrace.

Triple rooms come with an additional sofa bed, family rooms and suites come with separate living room with sofa bed, and junior suites have an adjoining living room with sofa and jacuzzi on upper terrace available.

All Inclusive 24 hours includes all meals and snacks: breakfast buffet and on the spot cooking stations, continental breakfast/snacks, lunch buffet with on the spot cooking stations and assorted desserts, light fare at the poolside restaurant, cakes and coffee, dinner buffets and dishes prepared on the spot, special evenings with theme buffet twice a week. Optional dining (reservations required in advance) with Cape Verdian cuisine, Asian cuisine and African cuisine. Snacks, domestic and imported beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks) are available 24-hours a day.

Leisure facilities include workout, shuffleboard, airgun shooting, aquagym, beach volleyball, two floodlit hard surface tennis courts, racquets and tennis balls (deposit required), gym, jacuzzi, sauna, kayaking, pedaloes, snorkelling equipment and one introductory scuba diving lesson in the pool. Entertainment includes daytime programme for adults and children ages 4 to 12 (daily), activities programme at the Hobby Club (several times a week), live music, shows or Riu evening programme (daily) and complimentary entrance to Pacha night club and drinks (open six nights a week).

All hotel guests are required to wear an 'all inclusive' wristband for identification purposes.
