The Clubhotel Riu Guarana has 2 outdoor swimming pool, one with a jacuzzi, a children's pool and an indoor pool which is heated in winter. Further leisure facilities and activities include a sun terrace with loungers and parasols, a children's playground, a fitness gym, sauna and jacuzzi, a tennis court, beach volleyball, shuffleboard and table tennis. There is also a Spa with a steam bath, which offers a range of massages and beauty treatments.

The main restaurant offers buffet meals and indoor and outdoor dining. There is also an A la Carte restaurant specialising in Asian cuisine, a pool-side restaurant, a lounge bar and terrace, a pool-side bar, a night club and evening entertainment including live music and shows. The hotel also organises daytime activities for adults and a daily club for children aged 4-7 and 8-12.

Clubhotel Riu Guarana is located in Olhos d'Agua in the Algarve, just a 15 minute walk from Praia da Falesia beach. Access to a small cove from the hotel Riu Palace Algarve is via cliff side steps (an approximate 10 minute walk). There are a number of shops and a bus stop approx 500 metres away and Albufeira is approx 8km. The resort of Olhos de Agua is approx 32km from Faro Airport.
