This attractive hotel is part of a large complex made up of three hotels; ClubHotel Riu Bachata and ClubHotel Riu Merengue.

Within this hotel is a foyer with a reception desk with currency exchange bureau. Public Internet access is available for use as are car park and garage facilities for those arriving by car.

Within the complex is Caribbean Street offering a jewellery shop, hairdresser, photographic shop and an assortment of shops.

Guests can dine at one of the restaurants in the complex including a poolside bar/restaurant, air conditioned a la carte restaurant or one of the other restaurants within the RIU resort.

The outdoor facilities are plentiful here and guests have a choice of swimming pools to choose from. All are surrounded by sun terraces laid out with sun loungers.

For those seeking active pursuits there are tennis courts, beach volleyball, table tennis and fully equipped gym within the complex. Non motorised watersports can be found at the beach. Alternatively there is a programme of activities to suit both adults and children.

For those wishing a slower pace, there is a Wellness Centre offering a range of beauty and massage treatments.

For the younger guests there is a childrens swimming pool and kids club to keep them entertained.

In the evenings, guests may have a boogie at the Disco Pacha.

Please note some activities take place at the other hotels within the complex.

All 463 air conditioned guest rooms are provided with 2 queen-size beds, satellite TV, mini bar and liquor dispenser, safe and ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. Each room also has a ceiling fan and balcony or terrace. Some of these amenities may incur a local charge.

Junior suites have a living area, extra TV and bathroom with bidet and hair dryer available at a supplement.

The hotel is situated on the beach and 9km from the main resort of Puerto Plata where a variety of shops, bars and restaurants can be found.

Self Catering

Self Catering puts you in complete control of what you eat on holiday. Generally a kitchenette is provided to allow you to cook basic meals.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner served buffet style in the main restaurant. Themed evenings on occasion.
