The hotel is located a few paces from the main shopping street of Sissi where guests will find numerous shops, boutiques, cafes, bars and tavernas. The beach is 350 metres away and the hotel is 45 km from Heraklion airport.

The Castello Village offers Apartments and Bungalows in a relaxing atmosphere and guests can enjoy 2 outdoor pools (freshwater), children's pool (fresh water), sun beds and parasols and volleyball. There are watersports (scuba diving, water skiing, paragliding, windsurfing, jet skiing, banana boats, ringos, pedaloes, canoes etc) within 500 metres of the hotel. The hotel offers a fitness centre (Iraklis) where guests will find sauna and massage available with reservation (local charge). The hotel offers meeting facilities (up to 80 people), satellite TV/video corner, bus service (regular public daily service to Heraklion, Malia, Hersonissos and Aghios Nikolaos), car rental, foreign currency exchange, doctor, laundry, luggage storage, taxi service (on request) and internet station.

The hotel offers an animation programme from April to October and there is a multilingual animation team offering day and evening activities and entertainment. The hotel operates special evenings with live music and dancing by the pool.

For children the hotel offers baby sitting (times on request), children's playground, animation programmes, multilingual animators, Mickey Mouse mini club (4 to 12 years) open April to October (hours on request).

The hotel offers cuisine to suit all and the main restaurant Athina offers breakfast and dinner in a buffer style with traditional Cretan and international cuisine. The snack bar Delfi is located next to the main pool area and offers a large selection of snacks and a variety of Greek and international dishes for lunch. The main bar Dionysos is located in the central pool area and offers exciting cocktails and beverages in a cosy atmosphere. The pool bar Alexandros (May to September) is situated next to the sea and offers from morning until midnight serving refreshing drinks, cocktails, ice cream and snacks. During the week guests can enjoy special evenings such as barbecue, Greek nights, beer and wine festivals etc. all with live music and dancing (local charge).

Please note that guests are kindly asked to dress appropriately for dinner. For all outdoor theme buffets a smart/ casual dress is recommended.

The Castello Village offers buildings that are laid out in a Cretan village style and each offers either a studio (open plan room with kitchenette) or apartment (either with 1 or 2 bedrooms and living room). Each of the accommodations offers air conditioning (local charge 4.5 Euros per day per unit), satellite TV, music channels, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, safety deposit box (local charge 2.5 Euros per unit per day), fridge and balcony or terrace.
