The hotel facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, sun-terrace with loungers, indoor pool, fitness room, sauna, Turkish, massage and therapy treatments. A range of leisure facilities including a sports and fitness programme as well as the rental of kayaks, hobie-cats and windsurf boards.

Dining options include Onda Azul restaurant serving local cuisine with lunch and dinner a'la carte service, Sala Calheta buffet restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, there is also a pool bar, snack bar and a hotel bar with billiard table, cards and occasional live music.

Guest services include 24hr reception, internet access, boutique, conference rooms and covered parking.

From the hotel to the Madeira International Airport it is about a 45mins drive and the city centre of Funchal can be reached within 35mins by car.

Bed & Breakfast means breakfast is the only meal at the hotel included in the price. Giving you complete freedom over lunch and dinner outside the hotel.

Half board generally means breakfast and dinner at the hotel are included in the price.

We work hard to offer you the lowest prices for your holidays. In the unlikely event that you can find them cheaper, let us know and we'll cheerfully refund the difference.

• Holiday must be outside 14 days from departure
• Include all taxes, luggage charges where applicable (unlike some companies, we don't hide the taxes or luggage charges till the last minute)
