This hotel forms the main part of the Barcelo Bavaro Beach Resort (made up of other Barcelo Hotels) and therefore the wealth of facilities are spread across the whole resort.

Guests are welcomed into the hotel via the lobby and 24 hour reception desk with currency exchange service, bike rental, laundry service and internet access (local charge). A range of shops and boutique are housed in the main building.

Guests can swim in one of the four swimming pools including a pool for children. All pools are surrounded by a sun terrace furnished with sunbeds and parasols. There is also a waterpark with slides and waterfalls (local fee applies).

Sporting facilities include tennis, volleyball, basketball, a fitness room, mini golf (local charge) and there is a selection of non motorised and motorised watersports available at the beach.

For the younger guests there is a kids club.

Guests can relax at the Spa offering a choice of beauty and massage treatments as well as use of the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room

Meals can be taken in one of the two buffet restaurants or the range of a la carte restaurants offering a choice for nearly every taste. There is also a large number of bars located throughout the resort.

Within the Beach Resort complex is also a Spa, Golf and theatre offering evening entertainment.

The Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe Hotel is part of the Barcelo Bavaro Beach Resort complex (5 hotels in total) and some of the facilities are offered throughout the resort and not just at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe Hotel. Guests are permitted use of all facilities and restaurants (subject to availability and local fee) in the Beach Resort complex. Some amenities incur a local fee.

There are 1,366 rooms and suites are located in three distinct hotel wings, some with sea view.

All rooms feature private bathroom with hair-dryer, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, radio alarm clock, tea/coffee maker, mini bar, ironing equipment, hire safe, air conditioning and terrace or balcony.

Suites feature a king size bed, separate living area with sofa bed and terrace with jacuzzi.

Junior suites sleep up to 4 persons and have ocean view. Family rooms sleep up to 6 persons.

Superior rooms do not have the jacuzzi terrace and sleep up to 4 persons.

All Inclusive

The all inclusive information is a guide only and consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner served buffet style with a selection of snacks available from the poolside bar. Locally produced alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are also offered.
