Balaia Mar Hotel

Balaia Mar Hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool with a separate pool for children, surrounded by a wide, furnished sun terrace and large lawned gardens.

The main restaurant and pool-side bar are open for meals and snacks as well as summer barbecues and a take-away service (restricted to breakfasts from November to April) and in the evenings there is also a Sports Bar with large screen TV, video games and pool tables which is open until 2am.

Services available to guests include 24 hour reception, laundry, currency exchange, safe deposit boxes, baby-sitting, bike hire, parking spaces and excursion bookings.

The accommodation consists of 32 guest rooms each of which feature a private bathroom, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a mini bar and a safe, air conditioning and a terrace.

Balaia Mar Hotel is just 5 minutes from Maria Luisa Beach and 1.5km from the tourist centres of Olhos d'Agua and Praia da Oura where there are many cultural places of interest as well as bars and restaurants. There are tennis courts approx 200 metres away, a nearby golf course and many water sports are also available on the beach (under separate management and with a local charge). The lively centre of Albufeira is approx 5km away.

Olhos de Agua is approx 32km from Faro Airport.

If you book Room Only, all meals will have to be paid for whether in or out of the hotel.

Self Catering

Self Catering puts you in complete control of what you eat on holiday. Generally a kitchenette is provided to allow you to cook basic meals.

Bed & Breakfast

Bed & Breakfast means breakfast is the only meal at the hotel included in the price. Giving you complete freedom over lunch and dinner outside the hotel.

Half Board

Half board generally means breakfast and dinner at the hotel are included in the price.

We work hard to offer you the lowest prices for your holidays. In the unlikely event that you can find them cheaper, let us know and we'll cheerfully refund the difference.

• Holiday must be outside 14 days from departure
