The Baia Grande hotel offers guests an outdoor swimming pool with jacuzzi, an outdoor children's swimming pool, an indoor heated swimming pool, massage room, jacuzzi and sauna. Locally, other sports such as golf, tennis, water sports (seasonal) and deep sea fishing are available and can be organised by the hotel.

A courtesy bus operates to the centre of Albufeira and there is transport to Gale beach (1 km) during summer time. There is a doctor on call, baby sitting (on request payable locally), room service, laundry service, car rental, internet access, games room and excursions. The hotel also provides conference facilities for up to 120 people.

The Mermaid Restaurant is situated on the first floor and commands great views across the sea. The hotel serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all in buffet style. As an alternative, an a la carte restaurant is available. The Piano Bar is situated on the main reception level and again has pleasant views across the Atlantic and provides live music several times a week. In addition, there is a pool bar/restaurant Neptuno that is open all day during the summer for snacks and drinks.

The hotel is a 35 minute drive from Faro Airport and is 3 minute drive from the centre of Albufeira. The Railway Station is 10 minutes drive away and the casino 30 minutes drive. There is a bus stop situated 900 meters from the hotel and the beach is 800 metres away.
